Avoid exposure to chlorine as much as possible by using a shower filter and staying out of pools
and chemically-cleaned spas. There are very few pools or spas that clean their water using safe methodologies including ozone generators. The reason being it that these technologies are quite expensive for high volume applications.
If your water comes from a well, you don't need chlorine filters. When you turn on the shower and smell chlorine it's time to change the filter's cartridge. Stay safe and hope this information makes your life and that of your loved ones a safer and more enjoyable experience. :)
