The weakening and deadening of man's sense perceptions is due chiefly to depleted vitality and the accumulation in the tissues of excess food and retained waste matter. The fast by cleaning out the excesses and wastes and eliminating them from the system and also by permitting nervous recuperation, removes the causes of dulled senses. Water fasting, an almost unknown practice int our Western world, seems to reawaken the sense among many other benefits. There is no drug that can even come close to similar results not even in a long run. Fasting benefits are achieved in a short run.
Do not do a water fast unless under the care of an expert.
